Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of building systems in a manufacturing facility. You’ll support all facility needs, including moving furniture, assembling cubicles, cleaning, painting, and PM/WO tasks.

Primary duties include inspecting and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems while maintaining CMMS records. 3 day weekends on a 4x10 shift (Mon-Thu).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance or general labor experience.
• Experience using repair manuals or parts catalogs.
• Experience using common tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches).
• Experience performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks and respond to work orders.
• Maintain CMMS records and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with facilities projects, moves, and upkeep (cubicles, cleaning, painting).

The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of building systems and equipment within a manufacturing or industrial facility.

Will also be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Lockheed Martin facility which will include, but not limited to, maintenance, moving furniture, assembling cubicles, cleaning & painting, assisting facilities with WO's and PM's, parts pick up.

What You Will Be Doing

Primary duties include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; performing routine preventive‑maintenance tasks; responding to work‑order requests and equipment failures; maintaining accurate records in the CMMS; ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards; and participating in scheduled shutdowns, upgrades, and capital‑project support.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience and/or General Laborer experience.

Experience with using repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

Experience using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.

Experience performing routine maintenance.

Desired Skills

Good Driving record (Driving on site is required)

Arresting cable experience

LM building experience

Proficient Computer skills: Word, Excel (able to learn new systems as needed).

Able to work after hours and respond to emergency's when needed.

Able to drive forklifts, man lifts, and fleet vehicles

Professional presentation and attitude.

Time management skills.

Pay Information

Pay rate for this position is $20.72 - $34.57 per hour.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
