Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a maintenance technician to provide preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing, packaging, and facilities equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment to support production and ensure safe, compliant operation across sterilization, packaging lines, and HVAC systems.

The role requires understanding three-phase power and industrial controls, with documentation in SAP/AMM.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Automation Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance or related technical field OR 3+ years related work experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/packaging environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with safety, environmental and quality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
• Support production by troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Assist operations on sterilizing, high speed packaging, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, boilers and process chillers equipment.

Description Overview

• - $37/hr plus $2.00 shift differential. Schedule: 2-2-3, 12hr shifts from 6pm-6:10am.
• - Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
• - Support production by troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
• - Support operations on product sterilizing equipment, high speed packaging equipment, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, high-pressure boilers and process chillers.
• - Understand three phase electrical power and industrial controls.
• - Use SAP/AMM to document and track all work.
• - Follow plant safety rules; report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately.
• - Follow factory safety & environmental objectives and targets; maintain compliance with regulations and use Safety & Environmental Management System(s).
• - Utilities area specific: trained on boiler/ammonia systems (prior knowledge beneficial).

Scope of the Role

• - Follow Perrigo Good Manufacturing Practices; report food safety and quality issues immediately.
• - Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Perrigo Quality Management System.
• - Understand food safety and quality aspects of the position.
• - Maintain a clean and 5S compliant work area; follow factory/department safety rules.
• - Maintain a positive attitude; communicate with Team Advisor, co-workers, vendors, and contractors.
• - Be flexible and work overtime as needed.
