Job summary

Perrigo in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing, packaging, and facilities equipment.

You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, support production, and document work in SAP/AMM while adhering to GMP and safety guidelines. An associate degree in automation maintenance or 3+ years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Automation Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance or related technical field.
• 3+ years related work experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
• Support production by troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
• Support operations on product sterilizing equipment, high speed packaging equipment, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, high-pressure boilers and process chillers.
• Understand three phase electrical power and industrial controls.
• Will be required to use SAP/AMM to document and track all work.
• Follow the plant safety rules; report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately
• Follow factory safety & environmental objectives & targets
• Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.
• Utilities area specific: Will be trained on boiler/ammonia systems. Prior knowledge of systems is beneficial.
• Follow Perrigo Good Manufacturing Practices; report food safety and quality issues immediately.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to Perrigo Quality Management System on all related procedures and programs.
• Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position.
• Maintain a clean and 5S compliant work area
• Follow factory and department safety rules
• Maintain a positive attitude (i.e.: demonstrate engagement and pro-active behavior).
• Communicate with Team Advisor, co-workers, vendors, and contractors
• Be flexible and work overtime as needed

Description Overview

$37/hr plus $2.00 shift differential. Schedule: 2-2-3, 12hr shifts from 6pm-6:10am.

Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.

Support production by troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
