Job summary

MV Transportation is hiring experienced Mechanics to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair steering, brakes, engines, transmissions, and other systems on our fleet. The role requires a Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsements and the ability to lift 60 pounds, with a DOT physical and drug testing as part of pre-employment processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of apprentice-level automotive/diesel experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, examine, and repair vehicle systems and components.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Execute major and minor repairs of defective components.
• Document repairs and parts usage in MV’s Fleet Management System.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Read and interpret service manuals and MSDS.
