Job summary

MV Transportation is hiring a Mechanic in Michigan to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles, including brakes, engines, suspensions, and wheelchairs lifts. You will document work in the Fleet Management System and maintain a clean, safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years apprentice level verifiable training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and random testing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, examine, and investigate vehicles to determine causes of defects.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of vehicles.
• Execute major and minor repairs of defective components.
• Document all activities in MV Fleet Management System.
• Keep work area organized and safe.
