Job summary

MV Transportation in Columbus, OH is seeking experienced mechanics to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair steering, brakes, engines, and electrical systems on our fleet. You’ll work a full schedule with steady hours and comprehensive benefits.

Successful candidates have at least five years of apprentice-level automotive or diesel experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of apprentice-style automotive or diesel mechanics training and experience.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, examines, and investigates vehicles to determine causes of defective operation of vehicle systems and components.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance of vehicles
• Execute major and minor repairs of defective components.
• Document all activities in MV’s Fleet Management System.
• Maintain work environment in an organized and safe condition.
