MedStar Health is seeking a Mechanic Journeyman - Plumber to join our team at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital. The role involves performing general plumbing maintenance, preventative repairs, and some related new construction and renovation work within hospital facilities.

Primary Duties include:

• Diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems using blueprints, codes, and specifications.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and initiating work orders.
• Correcting leaks, sewage stoppages, and equipment issues; installing and repairing medical gas lines.
• Maintaining inventory of parts, repairing pumps and heat exchangers, and replacing valves on steam systems or boilers.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of acceptable training and demonstrated competency in relevant areas.
• 3-4 years of related experience.
• Additional certifications in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, process controls, or plumbing.
• CFC universal certification.
• Licensed Plumber with Journeyman Plumbing license; Master Plumber license preferred.

This position offers a salary range of $28.2 - $47.3 per hour, is full-time, and classified as Mid-Senior level in the Management and Manufacturing sectors within Hospitals and Healthcare industries.
