Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of equipment in a safety‑mocused environment. You will work with a team handling Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC and related gear.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, strong hydraulic/electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting. Benefits included for full‑time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• May need to provide mechanic's tools of the trade.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work safely to minimize downtime across a fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps and HVAC gear.
• Follow shop procedures and documentation; maintain tools and workspace.
