Job summary

GoTriangle seeks a 2nd Shift Mechanic II to diagnose and repair the full range of GoTriangle vehicles. This role handles complex diagnostics, fabrication, and overhauls, reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor.

The position requires an Associate’s degree and 3+ years as a journey mechanic on gasoline/diesel equipment, plus a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and DOT card. Safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of related experience as a journey mechanic on gasoline and diesel equipment.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and have or obtain a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Strong analytical/diagnostic skills and proficiency with a full range of mechanic tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, HVAC, and hydraulic systems on GoTriangle vehicles.
• Repair and overhaul complex issues including engine, transmission, electrical, and electronic controls.
• Fabricate parts and weld/shape metal components as needed.
• Determine parts, prioritize repairs, and supervise helpers.
• Respond to road calls and assess safety alongside timelines for deadlines.
