What You’ll Do
The Mechanic I oversees the small engine repair shop, managing work orders, equipment servicing, parts ordering, and warranty claims. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality customer service, enforcing safety protocols, handling hazardous materials properly, completing warranty paperwork, maintaining documentation, ensuring shop cleanliness, managing parts, performing repairs and maintenance, utilizing computer systems, assisting with loading/unloading machinery, interpreting manuals and diagrams, communicating professionally, providing work updates, participating in cross-training, and embodying Rural King’s values.

Essential Qualities For Success
Intermediate to advanced mechanical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and in-store technology; ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods; lift and move weights up to 50 pounds; navigate facilities; communicate effectively; have close vision for computer work.
