Job summary

CMBT INC. in New London, NC is seeking a skilled heavy equipment mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair construction machinery. You will perform routine maintenance, repair defective parts, and handle basic fabrication and welding as needed.

The role requires reading schematics, understanding hydraulic and electrical systems, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The position pays based on experience and offers a competitive schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment or construction mechanic.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and service manuals.
• Welding and fabrication skills preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
