Job Summary: The Mechanic Field I is responsible for providing support and assisting with DOT inspections, performing PM services on equipment, supporting Samsara installation, and assisting with additional equipment repairs as needed.
Essential Functions
- Support and assist with DOT inspections on trailers, tractors, and cranes.
- Perform PM services on all equipment.
- Assist technicians as needed.
- Replace lights, mud flaps, and trailer decking.
- Support and assist with air brake inspection and replacement.
- Support and assist with Samsara installation.
- Provide support for Crane technicians.

- 0–2 years experience as a Field Mechanic.
- Strong organizational skills.

Minimum Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to pass a post-offer/pre-placement drug screen, background report, and motor vehicle check.
- Work in a construction environment with prolonged standing, sitting, walking; occasional exposure to dangerous machinery, noise, and physical harm; ability to lift objects up to 100 pounds.
- Pass DOT pre-placement physical and physical capacity exam.
