Job Summary: The Mechanic Field I is responsible for providing support and assisting with DOT inspections, performing PM services on equipment, supporting Samsara installation, and assisting with additional equipment repairs as needed.

Essential Functions

1. Support and assist with DOT inspections on trailers, tractors, and cranes.
2. Perform PM services on all equipment.
3. Assist technicians as needed.
4. Replace lights, mud flaps, and trailer decking.
5. Support and assist with air brake inspection and replacement.
6. Support and assist with Samsara installation.
7. Provide support for Crane technicians.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pass a post-offer/pre-placement drug screen, background report, and motor vehicle check.
• Work in a construction environment with prolonged standing, sitting, walking; occasional exposure to dangerous machinery, noise, and physical harm; ability to lift objects up to 100 pounds.
• Pass DOT pre-placement physical and physical capacity exam.
