This person will be responsible for:
- Completing effective and efficient vehicle/equipment preventative maintenance repairs that maximize functionality, reliability, and longevity.
- Replenishing fluids and components on engines and equipment/vehicles.
- Completing work orders after every vehicle/equipment service.
- Inspecting equipment, vehicles, engines, transmissions, mechanical and electrical components, as well as computer and electronic systems.
- Conducting minor repairs on all equipment, including feed and other trucks, heavy equipment, tractors, loaders, skid steers, forklifts, ATVs, mowers, vehicles, motors, and generators, to ensure maximum functionality, reliability, and longevity.
Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
- Experience as a mechanic.
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of equipment and vehicles.
- Aptitude in using various hand tools, precision measurement tools, and shop equipment.
- Ability to follow established procedures, read instructions, blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, etc.
