Responsibilities

  • Perform demolition, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and related construction tasks.
  • Complete assignments independently to ensure timely and quality project outcomes.
  • Follow safety standards and project specifications on all work performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to address project needs and resolve issues.
  • Read blueprints and document modifications as needed.
  • Install drywall, framing, doors, trim, and ceiling structures.
  • Run and install plumbing lines and electrical wiring as directed.
  • Maintain and protect jobsite and report hazards.

Job Description

Job Summary Responsible for performing demolition, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and related construction duties to support project completion. Executes tasks independently to ensure timely and quality project outcomes. Collaborates with team members to address project needs and resolve issues. Maintains safety standards and adheres to project specifications in all work performed.

Essential Functions
  • Installs metal studding, framing, and ceiling structures.
  • Installs, finishes, sands, and paints drywall and ceilings.
  • Installs door frames, hangs doors, and installs all types of trim.
  • Runs copper lines and brazes connections, excluding medical gas.
  • Runs drain lines for plumbing fixtures.
  • Runs control wiring as directed.
  • Installs light fixtures, head walls, and related trim.
  • Applies and installs all types of fireproofing materials.
  • Performs field changes to blueprints and documents modifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Physical Demands
