Job summary

Frank's Supply Company in Hobbs, NM, seeks a qualified Construction Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair rental equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and safe operation.

You will perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and on-site field service when needed. A minimum of 2–5 years’ experience with light to medium construction gear, and own tools, are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience diagnosing and repairing light to medium construction equipment.
• Experience with electric over hydraulic controls, electric, gas and diesel machinery.
• Rental experience preferred.
• Good reading and comprehension skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have your own tools.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental. We are currently seeking a qualified CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT MECHANIC for our Hobbs, NM location.

OBJECTIVE:

This position diagnoses and repairs rental equipment to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze malfunctions and repair all types of equipment as required to ensure proper working condition for the customer
• Diagnose complex mechanical equipment problems
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time
• Perform safety inspections on equipment
• Create work order and assess time and cost of repairs
• Periodically go out on field service calls to repair equipment on job sites
• Maintains a clean and safe shop work environment
• Adhere to all governmental, company and equipment related safety requirements

Qualified candidates will have:
