Job summary

Frank's Supply Company is seeking a qualified LUBE TECHNICIAN for our Hobbs, NM location to maintain rental equipment at job sites and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire work, safety inspections, and assisting field mechanics. Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license with clean MVR and medical card.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of preventive maintenance experience on light to medium construction equipment.
• Experience with gas and diesel machinery.
• Rental experience preferred.
• Good reading and comprehension skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Must have your own tools.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and current medical card.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and downtime.
• Perform engine oil changes, replace filters, and grease units.
• Change or repair tires on light duty equipment and trailers.
• Assist field mechanics with in-field jobs as needed.
• Perform safety inspections on equipment.
• Create work orders and estimate time and cost of repairs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety requirements.

Job description

Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental. We are currently seeking a qualified LUBE TECHNICIAN for our Hobbs, NM location.

OBJECTIVE

This position maintains rental equipment at the job site to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time
• Changing engine oil, all necessary filters, and greasing of the unit
• Changing or repairing tires on light duty equipment and trailers
• Aiding in helping field mechanics with jobs in the field when necessary
• Perform safety inspections on equipment
• Create work order and assess time and cost of repairs
• Maintains a safe work environment
• Adhere to all governmental, company and equipment related safety requirements

Qualified candidates will have

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in preventive maintenance of light and medium construction equipment
• Experience with gas and diesel machinery
• Rental experience preferred
• Good reading and comprehension skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skill
• The ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have your own tools
• Have a valid driver's license with clean MVR & current medical card
