Job summary

Frank's Supply Company is seeking a qualified CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT MECHANIC for our Albuquerque, NM location. This position diagnoses and repairs rental equipment to insure complete customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on experience with heavy construction gear, electrical over hydraulic controls, and diesel/gas engines. A valid driver's license and owning your own tools are required. Vacation & Sick leave and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years experience diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment.
• Experience with electric over hydraulic controls, electric, gas and diesel machinery.
• Rental experience preferred.
• Good reading and comprehension skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have your own tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.

OBJECTIVE:
This position diagnoses and repairs rental equipment to insure complete customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze malfunctionsand repair all types of equipment as required to ensure proper working condition for the customer
• Diagnose complex mechanical equipment problems
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time
• Perform safety inspections on equipment
• Create work order and assess time and cost of repairs
• Maintains a clean and safe shop work environment
• Adhere to all governmental, company and equipment related safety requirements

Qualified candidates will have:

• Aminimum of 2-5 years experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment
• Experience with electric over hydraulic controls, electric, gas and diesel machinery

• The abilityto consistently lift up to 50 pounds
