Automotive ADAS Calibration Technician

Dashlight Solutions is seeking a highly motivated (MECHANICAL) technician to join us in the rapidly growing automotive repair industry niche of ADAS calibration.

Qualified candidates should be eager to learn and grow with emerging automotive technologies, particularly in ADAS calibration. Necessary skills and experience include:

• Vehicle scanning and diagnostics
• OEM and aftermarket scan tools
• DVOM for electrical troubleshooting
• Reading wiring schematics and diagnostic trees
• Using tape measures for calibration stand placement
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Google Documents
• Valid and clean driver’s license
• Static and dynamic calibrations (in-house and mobile)
• Pre- and post-scanning procedures
• Documenting repairs
• OEM training
• Test drives and troubleshooting
• Minor mechanical repairs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive repair, business management, or related fields preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in automotive repair or body shop environment

Skills and Competencies:

• Knowledge of automotive body repair procedures, materials, and labor requirements
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with diagnostic computer programs
• Attention to detail in paperwork and repair analysis

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and inspect vehicles for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more unassisted
• Comfort working in a body shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals

Work Schedule and Benefits:
