Transdev in Fort Bend, TX is seeking an experienced B-Level Gas/Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain gas and diesel engines across a range of vehicles and equipment. You will perform diagnostics, conduct routine maintenance, and support junior technicians to ensure safety and reliability of the fleet.

Formación

• 3-4 years of experience as a Mechanic.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided
• Mechanic’s Tool Set
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot engine issues.
• Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on engine components, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge
• Other duties as required.

Transdev in Fort Bend, TX is seeking an experienced B-Level Gas/Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gas/diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $34.00 – maximum $37.00 per hour depending on certifications

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

Key Responsibilities:
