Transdev in Fort Bend, TX is seeking an experienced B-Level Gas/Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain gas/diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity of our fleet.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience as a Mechanic.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical per DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot engine issues.
• Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on engine components.
• Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks.
• Execute routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and overhauls on engines to required specifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gas/diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided
• Mechanic’s Tool Set
