Job summary

MPUSA is seeking a Mechanic and Robotics Tech to join the Operations Maintenance team at an Amazon Operations facility. The role focuses on safety, hands-on troubleshooting, and improving equipment reliability through preventive maintenance and repairs.

Training includes 2 weeks in Sun Prairie, WI, followed by Weeks 3-8 near Milwaukee, WI, with hotel accommodations and meal/mileage reimbursement provided during travel periods. Shift is night 4:00 PM–4:00 AM with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PC experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output functions
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for facility needs

• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation

Job description

Our client, MPUSA is seeking a Mechanic and Robotics Tech to join their team. As a Mechanic and Robotics Tech, you will be part of the Operations Maintenance team supporting the Amazon Operations facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and a drive to continuously improve equipment reliability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanic and Robotics Tech

Pay Range: $28.00/hr

Schedule & Travel Requirements

• Candidates must be flexible and available to work either day or night shift, as shift assignments will be determined after the training period based on business needs.
• Training includes approximately 2 weeks in Sun Prairie, WI, followed by Weeks 3-8 at a location near Milwaukee, WI.
• Hotel accommodations will be provided, and meal and mileage expenses are reimbursable for travel periods (Monday-Friday).

Night Shift Schedule

• 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM (plus up to 6 additional hours as needed)

Shift Rotations

Candidates should be comfortable with travel during training and able to adapt to assigned schedules.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions
• Willingness to support facility needs, including possible travel up to 20% at a minimum
