Job summary

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a Lockheed Martin company, in Colorado is seeking a skilled aircraft mechanic to perform repairs, overhauls, and modifications on helicopter components in accordance with FAA approved procedures.

The role requires experience with dynamic components and landing gear, adherence to EH&S and DOT/FAA drug testing, and a flexible 4x10 schedule to support operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: prior MRO experience on helicopter components.
• Must be able to overhaul and repair all dynamic components including Landing gear components, experience with applicable tool control and metrology requirements.
• This is a safety-sensitive job covered by FAA/DOT drug testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Experience with S76 and S92 main gear box overhaul, metrology, and tool control experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, overhauls, and/or modifications on various aircraft components in accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings.
• Must be able to overhaul and repair all dynamic components including Landing gear components, experience with applicable tool control and metrology requirements.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Adhere to EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.
• Work occasional overtime as required to support business requirements.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others
• Perform duties as assigned by Shop Lead Person
• Have to ability to learn and comprehend new products as assigned. This is safety sensitive job subject to FAA and DOT drug testing requirements

Basic Qualifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $54200.00 - $100600.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
