Job summary

Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement processes, layouts, and production flows for assemblies, equipment installation, and material handling. You will drive automation, robotics, and digital instructions while leveraging 3D data to optimize operations.

Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment effectiveness, control quality, and support continuous improvement through data analytics and SPC techniques.

Qualifications

  • Experience onsite support to operations, design engineering, and unionized workforce for Final Assembly and Hangar production.
  • Expert navigation of MatrixOne, PMC, SAP 3D Visual Author/Viewer.
  • Experience with 3DExperience and Solumina G7 CAPP process planning.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
  • Assist designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout
  • Assist designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance
  • Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions
  • May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan
  • Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality
  • Assist in developing manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques
  • Provide input to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
  • Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

THE WORK

As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you will:

  • Assist in designing manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00
