Job summary

Fox Rent A Car is seeking ASE certified automotive technicians to keep our fleet rental-ready. You will perform medium-to-light repairs, oil changes, tire rotations, TPMS checks, and safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards before rental.

Responsibilities include documenting work on Repair Orders, creating Electronic Repair Orders, and communicating issues to the Fleet Manager. A valid driver’s license and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification(s) required.
• High School Diploma, GED, or Technical school graduate.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician, ideally with fleet or vehicle rental companies.
• Previous experience with preventative maintenance tasks — oil changes, tire rotations, and safety inspections.
• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform medium-to-light mechanical repairs and replacements on fleet vehicles.
• Conduct regular oil changes to maintain vehicle performance.
• Rotate tires as part of preventative maintenance checks.
• Monitor tire tread depth and replace tires when necessary to meet safety requirements.
• Verify TPMS functions with no warning lights.
• Document every repair and service on the Repair Order Record sheet and create an Electronic Repair Order (ERO).
• Communicate persistent vehicle issues or defects to the Fleet Manager/Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
