Qualifications

• Ability to perform welding in maintenance and repair activities.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery using hand tools, power tools, and precision testing instruments in accordance with diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and service motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Perform welding as needed to support maintenance activities.
• Prepare new machines for operation following established protocols.
• Collect and analyze data on machine operation to identify trends and reduce downtime.
• Create and manage work orders through CMMS.
• Demonstrate expert-level understanding of production machines and equipment.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: Top 10% of industry.. plus a $3.25 shift differential, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Shift / Schedule:

Weekend Days - Friday - Sunday - 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Must Have:

• 5+ years of maintenance/mechanical work experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair motors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to search for parts and manage work orders.
• Ability to perform welding in support of maintenance and repair activities.

Nice to Have:

• Two-year Associate degree.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
• Troubleshoot and service motors, advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment
• Perform welding as needed to support maintenance and repair activities
• Prepare new machines for operation following established protocols and procedures
• Conduct regular technical testing on machinery to ensure safety and efficiencyCollect and analyze data on machine operation to identify trends and recommend actions to reduce machine downtime
• Create and manage work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Demonstrate expert-level understanding of production machines and equipment
