Job summary

SIS is seeking a Mechanic 3 for weekend days, on-site in Ripon, WI. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing production machinery, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, with welding support as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance and mechanical work experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyors, and production machinery.
Experience using CMMS to search parts and manage work orders.
Ability to perform welding in maintenance and repair activities.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain machinery using hand tools, power tools, and precision testing instruments in accordance with diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
Troubleshoot and service motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyors, and production equipment.
Perform welding as needed to support maintenance activities.
Prepare new machines for operation following established protocols.
Collect and analyze data on machine operation to identify trends and reduce downtime.
Create and manage work orders through CMMS.
Demonstrate expert-level understanding of production machines and equipment.
