Job summary

Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, headquartered in Plover, Wisconsin, is seeking a skilled equipment mechanic to maintain, modify and repair trucks, trailers, small engines and heavy equipment. The role offers a day shift, full-time year-round work with potential overtime during peak season.

Responsibilities include servicing equipment, following safety policies, and supporting advancement through training programs such as welding, CDL, and OEM-specific courses. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must provide own tools (some tools provided by the company).
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
• Welding, fabrication, hydraulic, and electrical experience preferred.
• Physically able to perform the job functions.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Manager, mechanics will be responsible for maintenance, modifications and repairs of company equipment and machinery including trucks, trailers, small engines, and heavy equipment.
