Job description

Join Silgan Containers in Oconomowoc, WI as a 2nd Shift Industrial Mechanic, Monday thru Friday, 2pm to 10pm. Earn $30.55 per hour while repairing and maintaining high speed manufacturing equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify mechanical systems on the production line.
• Operate and maintain can line machinery in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Use precision measuring tools to work within tolerances of .0010.
• Monitor product quality and production efficiency to ensure smooth operation.
• Utilize mechanical manuals and diagrams to learn and troubleshoot new components.
• Contribute improvement ideas for the work area, safety, quality, cost control, and productivity.

We Need You To Have:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to operate and maintain Silgan Container’s high speed can lines by performing and documenting quality checks.
