Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies seeks a skilled Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery at our Metropolis, IL site. This onsite role starts at $38+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with REAL ID required for site access and credentials.

You will read technical drawings, disassemble and reassemble equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document repairs while complying with safety and customer site requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial mechanical maintenance or repair experience.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance according to established guidelines.
• A REAL ID and ability to meet customer site access requirements.
