Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a Mechanic in Lithonia, GA to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment. The role includes diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, conducting routine services, and communicating repair needs to service advisors.

The successful candidate will use diagnostic tools, maintain a clean workspace, and follow safety protocols while staying updated on new techniques through training. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have your own basic tools.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check, D.O.T. physical, and driver’s license check (past 36 months) without suspensions or major violations.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Conduct routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment and service manuals to identify and resolve issues
• Communicate findings and repair needs clearly to service advisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Stay current on new technology and repair techniques through training
• Other duties as assigned.

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Must have your own basic tools. Company will provide any specialty tools.
• Valid driver's license required and must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).
