LAttitude Inc is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to service heavy diesel equipment on customer sites in Woodbury Heights, NJ. You will diagnose and repair fleet equipment, perform preventive maintenance, complete inspections, and communicate repair recommendations to customers while keeping accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet and diesel equipment onsite.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on agricultural equipment, construction equipment, and medium/heavy‑duty trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
• Complete repairs efficiently and professionally while minimizing customer downtime.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of completed service and repairs.
• Represent the company professionally while working at customer locations.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to the company standards.

Our Fleet Mechanics work onsite with customers, handling breakdowns, repairs, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and service work on everything from construction equipment and tractors to medium‑duty and heavy‑duty trucks. No two days are the same.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities as a Fleet Mechanic

• Diagnose and repair fleet and diesel equipment onsite

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of Mechanic experience
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Comfortable meeting clients onsite or at designated service locations
• Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work individually
