Amerit Fleet Solutions in Folcroft, NJ is seeking a Diesel & Automotive Technician/Mechanic with 5+ years of hands-on experience to service light to medium duty fleet vehicles. This role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting repairs.

You will operate in a mobile, outside and shop environment with weekly pay, benefits within 30 days, and opportunities for overtime and career advancement across nationwide sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on experience performing diesel and automotive maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to meet physical demands and pass screenings (drug screen/DOT if required).

Diesel & Automotive Technician/Mechanic - Folcroft, NJ

$40.00 - $48.00 hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits within 30 Days

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Diesel & Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Folcroft, NJ. Will also be responsible to cover sites in Runnemede, Wilmington (with potential to travel into Philadelphia metropolis area). Opportunity for overtime.

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00/hour (based on experience) Pay Frequency: Weekly pay - every Friday Schedule: Tuesday- Friday 2pm-10:30pm, Saturday 8am-4:30pm

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role

• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
