You will perform precise machining tasks to tight tolerances and monitor quality using SPC methods. Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma plus 5 years of related experience or an associate degree with 3 years of experience, with certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years of related experience, or equivalent apprenticeship/education.
• Associate's Degree in a relevant discipline with 3 years of related experience may qualify.
• May require specific certification depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, fits, aligns, and assembles prefabricated cast and forged components prior to welding or bonding.
• Performs fitting and machining operations to close tolerances (straighten, grind, burr, drill, ream, countersink).
• Monitor and verify quality according to statistical process controls or other procedures.
• Refer to general instructions for equipment selection and layout of materials to be welded.
