Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Production Associate (Meat Wrapper) in West Salem, WI. The role starts at $18 per hour and progresses with experience. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 1st shift, with no weekend work, starting at 8am.

The position requires a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, with lifting requirements and the ability to work in cold temperatures. Prior meat wrapper or warehouse experience (0-6 months) is preferred. Benefits are provided from Day 1 and include growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Lift requirements: 10-35 pounds continuous and up to 60-90 pounds.
• Willingness to work with cold temperatures.
• 0-6 months meat wrapper or warehouse/production experience.

Responsibilities

• Pack meat in boxes, seal, label and stack finished product.
• Assemble boxes and prepare packaging materials for operation.
• Load finished meat into Cryovac sealer and seal cases.
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain GMP and safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
