Job summary

Save-A-Lot, Ltd. in Crystal River, FL is seeking a Meat Wrapper to join our team on a full-time basis. You will handle fresh meat, wrap, weigh, price, label, and merchandize products to maximize sales, while maintaining safety, sanitation, and inventory control standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ years of age.
• Experience in grocery perishable department or meat wrapping preferred.
• Able to read, write and speak in English.
• Proficient in basic math operations.

Responsibilities

• Learns to package beef, pork and poultry items per policies.
• Wraps, weighs, and prices cuts of meat.
• Labels packages per COOL and company standards.
• Maintains display and case signage to maximize sales.
• Receives, inspects, stores meat to maintain cold chain.
• Performs sanitation and cleaning of cases and rooms.
• Follows company policies including safety, sanitation, and inventory.
