Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Meat Wrapper Clerk (Grade A) at the Brookfield location to wrap, package, and price merchandise in the Meat Department while delivering a great customer experience. The role requires maintaining department cleanliness and handling products safely in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves standing for long shifts, working in refrigerated areas, and lifting items up to 80-90 lbs as needed. Overtime may be required to support store operations and promotions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 35 lbs., and occasionally lift 80-90 lbs.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, package, scale and price mark merchandise in the Meat Department.
• Maintain a neat, clean and visually appealing department.
• Stock merchandise and display cases.
• Check refrigeration equipment for proper performance and report issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and QA standards.
