Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Meat Wrapper Clerk (Grade A) to provide a great customer experience by wrapping, packaging, scaling, and price marking meat products in the Meat Department. The role includes maintaining a clean, organized department while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Minimum qualifications include English proficiency, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 80-90 lbs. This position requires standing for long periods and working in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English fluently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 35 lbs., and occasionally lift 80-90 lbs.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Stock merchandise and display cases.
• Check prices and know item locations.
• Accurately complete required reports (daily sales, inventory, receiving log).
• Work in refrigerated and chilling areas as needed.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety and QA standards.
