Job Description: Meat Department Associate

Prepare and display meat items for sale following company standards and policies. Greet and serve customers, providing excellent customer service. Demonstrate leadership behaviors and uphold the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and labels.
• Qualified to operate power tools and equipment such as slicers, grinders, and more.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals.
• Teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment and willingness to assist colleagues.
• Calm handling of stressful situations to positively represent the team and store.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in meat preparation or similar food service roles.
• Dependability and integrity in work history.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, OSHA regulations, and food safety standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Display and organize merchandise neatly and efficiently.
• Ensure product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
• Manage carts, tools, supplies, and ensure safety and cleanliness of floors.
• Monitor inventory levels and freshness in display cases, unload trucks, and prepare merchandise.
• Provide excellent customer and team member relations.
• Sanitize equipment per policies and health regulations.
• Create a friendly impression on customers and assist with product location.
• Follow all relevant laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and perform any additional duties as assigned.
