Meijer Inc. is seeking a Meat Team Leader to lead our Meat and Seafood departments, ensuring top customer service and strong financial results. You will hire, train, and schedule staff while driving safe, compliant operations across our stores.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance, maintaining inventory integrity and cost controls, and upholding Meijer’s sanitation standards. Join our team to help serve communities with pride and efficiency.

Formación

• Experience leading a Meat department or similar team.
• Ability to manage staffing and schedules.
• Strong customer service and safety focus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide courteous, friendly service to customers and team members.
• Achieve financial goals in Meat and Seafood departments.
• Conduct interviews to staff levels.
• Train Meat team members for high performance and low turnover.
• Write and manage Meat schedules for service levels and cost control.
• Ensure Real Time Apply accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain signing execution and pricing accuracy.
• Ensure sanitation and safety procedures.
• Control inventory shrinkage with planning and rotation.
• Complete MITS tasks promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Meat Team Leader oversees Meat team members.

What You'll be Doing:

• Ensures a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Responsible for achieving financial performance goals in both Meat and Seafood departments.
• Conducts interviews to ensure proper staffing levels are achieved.
• Trains Meat team members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
• Writes and manages Meat schedules in order to achieve first class service levels while achieving expense control objectives.
• Ensures Real Time Apply is completed accurately and according to Meijer timelines.
• Ensures both signing execution and pricing accuracy are maintained.
• Accountable for Meijer sanitation and safety procedures.
• Controls and manages inventory shrinkage through BOH accuracy, use of production planners, and adherence to rotation guidelines.
• Reacts to and completes MITS tasks in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• The Meat Team Leader is directly responsible for Meat team members.
