Hy-Vee Inc is seeking a Meat Specialist to cut and merchandise fresh meat items with attention to quality and customer service.

You will perform duties such as tenderizing, grinding, cutting, preparing cutting lists, and providing friendly, efficient service while upholding Hy-Vee standards. Applicants should have high school or equivalent and Hy-Vee food safety training; one year of related experience preferred. This is a physically demanding role in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualificações

• High School or equivalent with Hy-Vee food safety training.
• Over one year of related work experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in all interactions and assists customers by guiding them to products.
• Tenders, grinds, and cuts merchandise; prepares cutting lists for case fills; conducts cutting tests.
• Monitors refrigeration and maintains hygiene and dress guidelines; reports to work on schedule; works with team to ensure customer satisfaction.
