Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Hy-Vee food safety training preferred.
• Over one year of related meat department experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in the meat department.
• Tenderizes, grinds, and cuts merchandise.
• Prepares cutting lists and conducts cutting tests.
• Maintains proper refrigeration temperatures.
• Assists in other store areas as needed.
