Hy-Vee is seeking a Meat Specialist in the Meat department to cut, tenderize, grind, and merchandise fresh meat items while delivering exceptional customer service. You will assist customers, manage product quality, and help maintain department standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and teamwork with store staff. High school education and Hy-Vee food safety training are preferred, with potential for growth within the department.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent and Hy-Vee food safety training.
• Over one year of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provides prompt, friendly customer service and assists customers in finding products.
• Tenderizes, grinds, and cuts merchandise; prepares cutting lists.
• Maintains proper refrigeration temperatures and adheres to hygiene standards.
• Wraps, weighs, and labels products; replenishes and organizes coolers.
• Supervises department in the absence of the Manager/Assistant Manager when needed.
