Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Hy-Vee food safety training preferred.
• Over one year of related meat department experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to hygiene and safety.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers.
• Assist customers by guiding to products, escorting to items, and handling out-of-reach products.
• Tenderize, grind, and cut meat merchandise.
• Prepare cutting lists and conduct cutting tests.
• Order new items and monitor refrigeration temperatures.
• Maintain department hygiene and follow company policies.
