You'll provide prompt, friendly service, learn products, assist customers, and maintain department standards including safety, hygiene and proper temperatures.

Role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent; Hy-Vee food safety training preferred.
• Over one year of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Greets customers and helps them locate products.
• Assists with cutting, tenderizing, grinding and merchandising of meat.
• Prepares cutting lists and conducts cutting tests.
• Monitors refrigeration and maintains hygiene standards.
• Works as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Reports to work on schedule and adheres to policies.
• Performs other department duties as required.
