Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our Meat Department. You will provide excellent customer service, support meat preparation, and ensure safe handling of products in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

This hands-on role involves receiving, storing, grinding meats and helping customers with special orders. You must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math knowledge.
• Dependable and reliable; perform other related duties as assigned.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor; positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service and assist customers with questions and special orders.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload fresh, cured, and boxed meats and poultry from deliveries.
• Count and weigh incoming articles; compare against invoices and rotate meats to avoid aging.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety procedures in the Meat Department.
