Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of math, weights and measures
• Be dependable and reliable and perform other related duties as assigned
• Outgoing and friendly behavior; positive attitude and customer interaction ability
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team
• General housekeeping; clean and sanitize work area
• Adhere to safety, health, weights and measures regulations and recipes
• Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time and walk up to 2 miles per shift
• Able to lift/carry products up to 90 lbs and move pallets up to 500 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and help customers with questions and special orders
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload and transport meats from delivery; weigh and check against invoices
• Rotate meats to avoid aging and ensure freshness; maintain product knowledge and preparation techniques
• Ensure department cleanliness and safety following company procedures; assist customers with direction to products
