Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Meat Clerk to join our team. You will engage customers, handle fresh meats, and support daily department operations in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, grinding meats, rotating stock, and providing product guidance while maintaining sanitation and safety standards. This role offers growth within a welcoming, customer-focused store culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent with basic math knowledge.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to perform other related duties as assigned.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• General housekeeping, sanitation, and safety adherence in the department.
• Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours and shift up to 8 hours; able to lift 25–90 lbs.
• Must operate in a temperature-controlled environment and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service and assist with questions and special orders.
• Receive, store, grind meats, and rotate stock to prevent aging.
• Maintain product knowledge and adherence to department procedures.
• Direct customers to product locations and support daily operations with a clean, safe work area.
