Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Texas is seeking a Meat Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, fresh-food environment. You’ll learn skilled meat preparation and maintain safety, quality, and organization in the department.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, grinding meats, weighing and labeling, assisting customers with questions and special orders, and rotating stock. You’ll follow Clean as You Go and Fresh at 4 programs and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of weights, measures, and safe food handling practices.
• Team-oriented with the ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service and assist with questions and special orders.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; weigh, label, and rotate stock.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to all department guidelines and assist in department operations as needed.
