Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Meat Department team member to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats while assisting Members with questions and product recommendations.

You will maintain cleanliness and safety standards, stock cases, and ensure products are rotated by expiration dates to deliver a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for our Members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products.
• Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery.
