Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in New Hampshire is seeking a Meat Department team member to assist Members, weigh and package meat, and help maintain fresh products. You will support the meat cutter and ensure product quality and proper stock levels.

Ideal candidates have experience in meats/deli, familiarity with wrapping machines, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. This on-site role offers weekly pay and benefits as part of the club’s team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and ensures quality standards.
• Keeps meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases stocked and rotated.
